The apostle Peter encourage his fellow elder them to “Shepherd the flock of God.” (1 Pet. 5:​1-4) If you elder, we know that you love your brother and sister them and you really want encourage them. But maybe you can feel too tire or you can be too busy that you not able to do your assignment. Wetin you must do? Pray to Jehovah and tell him how you feeling. Peter write: “If anyone ministers, let him do so as depending on the strength that God supplies.” (1 Pet. 4:11) Maybe your brother and sister them facing problems that can’t be solve altogether in this world. But remember that “the chief shepherd,” Jesus Christ, can help them more than anybody. He can do it now-now and in the new world. Jehovah just want the elder them to shepherd their brothers, encourage them and set good example for them. w23.09 29-30 ¶13-14

We must avoid turning to human thinking. If we start thinking like the people who not get respect for Jehovah law, it will make us to disobey Jehovah. (1 Cor. 3:19) Most of the time, “the wisdom of this world” can make people to disobey Jehovah. That just how some Christian them in Pergamum and Thyatira started following the example of people who were worshiping false god and who use to put their hand in boyfriend and girlfriend business. Jesus gave the two congregations strong counsel for accepting that behavior. (Rev. 2:​14, 20) Today, people around us can try to make us to accept their wrong idea. Our family and friend them can try to convince us that we too strict. And they can encourage us to break Jehovah law. For example, sometime they can say it not possible to be clean in God eye. And the thing the Bible say about boyfriend and girlfriend business that way back thing. Sometime, we can start thinking that Jehovah direction can’t be too clear. When we not careful we can want “go beyond the things that are written.”—1 Cor. 4:6. w23.07 16 ¶10-11

Mary Jesus ma, needed strength to do Jehovah will. Think about how Mary was feeling when angel Gabriel gave her that big assignment. She was not marry yet, but the angel say she will get pregnant. She was not having any experience about bringing children up. But she suppose to take care of the child who was coming be the Messiah. How she was coming tell Joseph that she pregnant when she never do man and woman business before? (Luke 1:​26-33) How Mary get the strength? She get help from other people. For example, she ask angel Gabriel to help her with more information about the assignment. (Luke 1:34) It not stay long, she travel all the way through the mountains to visit her relative Elizabeth in Judah. Elizabeth tell Mary thank you and Jehovah spirit help Elizabeth to tell Mary one encouraging prophecy about the child that was in her stomach. (Luke 1:​39-45) Mary say that Jehovah use his power to do something great. (Luke 1:​46-51) Jehovah gave Mary strength through angel Gabriel and Elizabeth. w23.10 14-15 ¶10-12
